HAIR MAINTENANCE

Instructions/Care Tips

  • Use products specially designed for wigs (conditioners, combs, brushes, ect.)

  • Be gentle when brushing hair always start at the bottom and slowly work your way to the top of the hair

  • Wash hair with cool water ONLY not hot water, due to the fact that it can damage hair fibers and compromise the style/structure of the hair

  • Wash only as often as needed, to prolong the life of your wig or extensions

  • Avoid sleeping on wig

  • Wash hair with moisturizing hair care products because extensions are not getting natural oils from your scalp this will keep hair in good condition and help to hold moisture from shampoo and conditioning

  • Use heat protectant on extensions to reduce risk of heat damage whenever applying heat to hair and use a curling iron on low or warm heat when styling

Washing/Conditioning

  • Gently brush hair using wig brush

  • Holding bundle in hands wet with cool water

  • Gently work shampoo through hair from bottom with your fingers, rinse with cool water

  • Gently work conditioner from top to bottom rinse with conditioner

  • Gently pat dry with a towel (Avoid wringing/twisting)

  • Comb wet hair from the bottom to the top using gentle downward strokes one section at a time, never begin combing at top or middle and always comb down

  • Allow your hair to air dry-using a blow dryer will damage hair if used in excess. If necessary, put dryer on “cool” setting when using

Always use a wide tooth comb or pick for curly styles,  and wire brush for straight styles. Avoid standard brushes!

To completely restyle your virgin hair we suggest taking it to your stylist. If you decide to restyle yourself, please follow the guidelines above
